Construction of the $20 million Darlinghurst campus, School of Medicine and Nursing was completed in February 2008.
The project had 2 stages; Firstly the restoration and refurbishment of the existing church as well as the conversion of the school and presbytery into office and lecture rooms.
The second stage involved the construction of a new 3500m2, seven level building containing lecture rooms and offices.
In 2008, the project was the winner of two categories in the Master Builder’s Association Awards including ‘Best Tertiary Building- Value over $10 million’ and ‘Best Use of Bricks’.
